Male Self-Advocates’ Panel at the NFXF International Fragile X Conference

Last July we held the 16th NFXF International Fragile X Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Over 168 sessions and posters were presented over several days on a range of subjects.

At kind of the last minute, we decided to stream the session with male self-advocates to Facebook Live during the conference. It was a great session — very inspiring to see these young men work hard and talk about their lives, their struggles, and their dreams, to a group of parents, grandparents, friends, peers, and doctors. Over 12,000 people watched the video on Facebook at the time.
