What would you like others to know about them?
These are two cool guys——-they are polar opposites, though. Brooks loves his music (loud) and Ross does not like music. Brooks is tough and rugged and Ross
is more fragile. Brooks loves being around people and Ross is a loner.
What is your favorite thing about them?
They both, in their own way, show LOVE!
If you could tell someone who doesn’t know anything about Fragile X one thing, what would it be?
As described above, every Fragile X person has his, or her, own personality. Be very patient with them and they will love you like no one else.
What is your advice for newly diagnosed families?
Get professional help.
What do you want your community to know about Fragile X?
I have started a program for the 3 county area where we live and it is called Foothills CAN (Collaborative Action Network). We want everyone in our communities to know that our sons and friends are PEOPLE, too and are very employable in the workforce.
