Darienne has a passion for dance. She began dancing at 4 years old and danced for 15 years, taking classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. Her favorite time of the year was recital week where she could go on stage with all her peers and perform for the audience, costume floatingwhere she could go on stage
with all her peers and
perform for the audience around her, sparkles in her hair and a huge smile on her face. Audience members commented that they looked for her year after year and rejoiced with us on her progress. After becoming too old to dance at the studio, which broke her heart, she has discovered competition cheerleading where she performs with Michigan’s first all special needs cheer-leading team, the Pride of Trilogy. This year they traveled to Chicago and took first place at Nationals. She now has a new passion.
