Zack and AJ Korman are identical twins with a variety of silly nicknames that fit their personalities. They were diagnosed when they were 14 month old babies; now they are 6 years old and are full of energy and mischief. They love to play at the park (or in our own backyard), jump on the trampoline, go swimming, watch Dora the Explorer and The Wiggles, look at books, and visit their grandparents. They delight everyone they meet. They are so sweet and affectionate and happy, they have taught us how to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and smile and see the wonderful world the way that they do. I was so terrified when they were diagnosed, and I wish I could go back and tell myself that they were going to surprise me again and again with how much they were going to accomplish. They aren’t typical – but they are pretty great in and of themselves! The sky’s the limit!
