Why Cincinnati? Dr. Craig Erickson Knows
I am very excited to see fragile X stakeholders coming from around the world to attend the 2018 NFXF International Fragile X Conference July 11-15 in my hometown, Cincinnati, Ohio. This is the truly greatest meeting I have ever had the privilege to attend. The mix of families, clinicians, scientists, and self-advocates provides a dynamic setting unsurpassed by any similar conference in the world. I know that you will find Cincinnati a hospitable, friendly, cost-conscious environment ready to welcome your family with open arms. Our Clinic and our local NFXF chapter have been preparing for almost two years to make this event as accommodating and family-friendly as possible. Early Bird Conference Registration ends this Friday, May 18 so now is the time to act
Our Cincinnati Fragile X Center will have opportunities for families to participate in research during their time in Cincinnati. We’re scheduling families before, during, and after the conference. There is also a possibility based on the study that travel reimbursement will be available for your participation. If interested in hearing more about our research opportunities during the Conference week, please email
So we really hope to see you in Cincinnati! Learn, meet the many, many friendly faces filling the Hyatt Regency in our historic downtown, enjoy a bite of our Cincinnati-style chili, walk over to our fountain square, or grab a ride on our streetcar to our revitalized Over the Rhine region, all within steps of the Conference. I will be there soaking in everything with my family, and I hope to meet you and your family too.
