My brother, Albert Guerrero was born on January 23, 1943 and was a treasure to our family and everyone who knew him. He was not diagnosed with Fragile X until 1988. He was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia on April 7, 2011 and passed away on May 25, 2011. I wrote the following for his Memorial Service and I want to share it because it describes him to a T:

Albert, you are an example that few can meet. You surpassed many in empathy, charity, faith, and common sense. You gave and asked little in return. You gave unconditional love, you never complained, and always appreciated the most insignificant things. You loved to encourage people, compliment them, and make them laugh. You are truly a role model to envy. You enjoyed your life to the fullest, up to the last moment. You brought joy to everyones heart. You left us all with a smile on our faces and we will remember you as one of a kind. Today, heaven is a better place because they have you. We will always carry you in our hearts.

Your Sis,

Molly

P.S. The picture with the Mariachi’s was taken 4 days before he passed away.
