From Jay Souder, NFXF Board President, on behalf of the National Fragile X Foundation:

As a parent of an adult son with Fragile X syndrome, the news coming out of Pittsburgh that two of the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shootings were brothers and had Fragile X hits me especially hard. The news reports that said they served their synagogue ‘with joy’ as greeters whenever the doors were open isn’t a surprise to me at all. While I didn’t know them personally, I understand from being a member of the Fragile X Community the love that our children share with the world.

Please join me in sympathy for the tragic loss of these cherished men and all of the victims of this senseless tragedy.
