More than 50 friends and supporters gathered on September 29 to eat great food, taste various wines, bid for prizes, and raise awareness and funds to support the Fragile X community. This was the fifth of the popular Cork and Cafe fundraiser events hosted by the NFXF Western Massachusetts Chapter and held at the Esselon Cafe in Hadley, Mass.

Guests had many wines to choose from and delicious appetizers created by the Esselon Cafe staff, known for their creative, thoughtfully sourced menus. Friends and local businesses generously donated silent auction prizes, including plants, gift cards, jewelry, granola, and much more. The event was another huge success!

Chapter leader Denise Devine says they plan to host more of these (and other) events in the future. Please watch our calendar and social media channels to learn about upcoming events and fundraisers, and feel free to contact us if you need help or advice on holding your own event.
