The National Fragile X Foundation was founded in 1984 as a public, non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are funded through individual contributions.

Our independently audited financial statements and IRS Form 990 are provided so you can see how your donations support Fragile X families through community, education, awareness, and research.
Non-Profit Certification
The NFXF is authorized to operate as a non-profit in all 50 states, territories, and the District of Columbia. Our federal 501(c)(3) and Florida certifications are provided.

The Platinum Seal of Transparency is the highest level of recognition from Candid, the worldʼs largest source of information about nonprofit organizations (formerly GuideStar).
