Parents Night Out
Arlington Heights, Illinois: Shown in the photo above, the NFXF Greater Chicago Chapter organized a night out at a local restaurant on September 9, 2023. Attendees enjoyed delicious food, shared experiences, and discussed challenges and strategies. Chapter leader Dawn Brown shared, “It was very nice, and it was the best turnout we have had!”

Greater Chicago X Strides Walk
Glenview, Illinois: The NFXF Greater Chicago Chapter participated in NFXF’s X Strides in July. They organized an event for members of the Fragile X community to come together on July 22, 2023. The 40 attendees casually walked a 1.5-mile loop at Gallery Park and then enjoyed the playground and splash pad. Everyone loved the delicious snacks and drinks, and a morning filled with connection and conversation!
