She showed pictures of Patrick through the years and other families in the Western Mass group.Talked about school, developments, medications, therapies, what daily life is like, family dynamics.

The students were very attentive and had some great questions for her. Denise also gave a word of advice give to the aspiring doctors: Please listen to your families. They may not always be right but neither will you! Accept information from the NFXF/parents/caregivers and collaborate with ‘Fragile X’ experts that do evaluations/suggest medications/therapies.
