Annual Fund 2013

Help make a world of difference.

Ayden, 6, son of Cortney Abouelseoud

Cortney Abouelseoud felt alone. The mother of three from Holt, Michigan, imagined attending Advocacy Day 2013 in Washington, DC, would be life changing. But “financially it wasn’t possible so I just resigned myself to not attending.” Then she received scholarships from the National Fragile X Foundation and her local LINKS group. “Suddenly, it was possible.”
Attending Advocacy Day was indeed life changing for Cortney because of the knowledge she gained, the empowerment she felt and the lifelong connections she made with other parents. She returned home to her husband, Sherief, and their three children, Ayden, 6; Issac, 4; and Emmalina, 21 months, stronger than ever.

AnnualFund3Your gift — in any amount — to the NFXF Annual Fund will ensure Cortney, and thousands like her, never feel alone again. Your donation is a direct investment in the well being of families affected by all Fragile X-associated disorders and offers fresh hope for a better tomorrow. Your gift makes it possible for us to connect the Fragile X community. This includes when we answer questions via phone and email, share the latest news and information through e-newsletters, updated web and Facebook sites and international conferences, strengthen engagement through our LINKS network, and, yes, fund Advocacy Day scholarships.

Donate now, give what you can. Help make all of our families stronger.
