Please join us for an evening with Fragile X advocate Robert Miller. This is an opportunity to interact with families touched by Fragile X while learning from a leader in Fragile X advocacy. We will also be joined by several specialists from Rady Children’s Hospital who locally treat individuals and families with Fragile X and students from the Augustana Sanford Genetic Counseling Graduate Program who are training to become genetic counselors and support families. The possibility of establishing a Fragile X clinic in San Diego will be one of the discussion items.
Robert is the Director of Clinical & International Relations of the National Fragile X Foundation and was a co-founder of the Fragile X Clinical & Research Consortium. Robert has spent 45 years helping children with special needs, their families, and the professionals who work with them. Robert is particularly interested in how families learn about, access and receive meaningful services from competent professionals, organizations and institutions.
