On December 10, the Fragile X Resource Center of Missouri hosted MANDT Training for local families. The MANDT system is a comprehensive, integrated approach to preventing, de-escalating, and if necessary, intervening when the behavior of an individual poses a threat of harm to themselves and/or others. Six families came together to participate in this event, provided by the generosity of the James Erker family. Everyone experienced an “a-ha” moment, helping to improve their daily lives.
